The Story

In 1652 an Iroquois raiding party captures sixteen-year-old Pierre and take him to their village in the Mohawk valley.

After being adopted into a loving family, Pierre becomes a warrior, but when he begins to fear for his life he escapes.

Back in New France, Pierre and his new brother-in-law embark on a dangerous quest for beaver pelt riches.
